The Washington Park Zoo is dedicated to educating people of all ages about the beauty, wonder, and value of all life on our planet. To do this, we offer a wide variety of programs and activities to allow children and adults to identify closely with animals and plants so that we all have a greater understanding behaviors, diversity and new appreciation for the life around us.

Zoo Camps - Have a Summer Animal Adventures! This is your child's ticket to the wonder and excitement of the world around them. This program utilizes the Washington Park Zoo as a living classroom. Spaces are limited! June 17 thru June 27.

Zoo to You – This flexible 1-hour program offers educational information with a safe, wild touch. Participants have the opportunity to see animals up close as well as touch most of them. There will also be plenty of time throughout the program for questions.
